Lee I. Iglody

Lee Iglody is an accomplished and experienced commercial litigation and trial attorney. Mr. Iglody has litigated over 300 cases, with many tried to verdict in trial or private arbitration. Most of the cases involved complex civil and commercial litigation, partnership and corporate disputes, business dissolutions, and insolvency litigation, commercial fraud, real estate litigation, and most recently, Nevada marijuana enterprise business disputes. He has achieved the highest rating for ethics and competence from Martindale-Hubbell®, an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating™ for litigation, and has been listed as a "Top Lawyer" for complex commercial litigation in Vegas Inc. Magazine.

Mr. Iglody commenced his legal career as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Gene T. Porter, Nevada's very first Business Court Judge in the newly-created specialty Business Court for Clark County, where he worked on a vast variety of commercial business law cases, big and small, while observing one of Nevada s finest judges presiding over trials involving some of the best trial attorneys from inside and outside Nevada.

Mr. Iglody then applied that experience at the firm of Marquis Aurbach, where he was fortunate to work on a wide array of business matters, ranging from landlord/tenant disputes and general real estate litigation to Uniform Commercial Code matters, and complex corporate dissolution disputes - including the two largest law firm dissolutions in Nevada history - taking numerous cases to jury and non-jury trials, as well as arbitrations.

Further broadening his expertise, Mr. Iglody then moved on to work with Nevada's pre-eminent bankruptcy law firm, Gordon Silver, litigating a myriad of business and bankruptcy matters, including notable achievements in corporate fraud and breach of duty cases, in which he expanded upon his trial experience in State and US Bankruptcy courts.

In 2009, Mr. Iglody formed his own firm and proceeded to obtain significant successes defending commercial borrowers against commercial lenders in the aftermath of the real estate crisis, while continuing to represent clients in actions and arbitrations involving commercial loans, commercial contracts, corporate disputes and bankruptcy matters.

Lee has successfully applied his significant commercial litigation experience in the new and expanding area of State licensed Marijuana Enterprises. Most recently, he has expanded his practice to include service as a mediator and arbitrator.

In addition to having successfully mediated settlement in over 100 cases as an advocate, Mr. Iglody completed the rigorous 40 hour mediation training at the National Judicial College in November 2019.
